NATIONAL INSURANCE COMMISSION ACT
Section 9: Powers of the Board.
The Board shall have power-(a) to manage and supervise the affairs of the Commission;
(b) for the overall policy and general administration of the Commission and act in the name of the Commission;
(c) to recommend to the Minister, from time to time, the rates of contributions to be made by insurance institutions, to the funds of the Commission; and
(d) to do such other things and enter into such transactions which in its opinion are necessary to ensure the efficient performance of its functions under this Act or any other enactment.
