Section 24: Production of a Multi-purpose Identity Card.

The Commission or any other person authorised by any law may require any person to whom a Multi-purpose Identity Card has been issued under this Act to produce such card and it shall be the duty of that person to produce such card if he has it on his person or within a specified period after he is required to do so:
Provided that nothing in this Act shall require any person to carry a Multi-purpose Identity Card on his person at all times.
