NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE AUTHORITY ACT, 2022
Section 32: Registration of employers and employees.
(1) Subject to such guidelines and regulations as may be made under this Act, an employer shall register itself and its employees and pay into the account of States Social Health Scheme Funds, its contributions and the contributions in respect of its employees, at the time and in the manner as may be specified in the State health insurance scheme laws and guidelines issued thereunder.
(2) Subject to guidelines and regulations as may be made under this Act, an individual or employer may register himself and the people under him with a private health insurer, pay into designated accounts of such insurer the necessary premium in respect of himself and others under supplementary or complementary private health insurance schemes.
