Section 16: Allowable variation in fertilizer weight

(1) The acceptable deviation of measured fertilizer bag weight from the value claimed on the label shall not be more than 500mg per 50kg bag or 1% across all bag weights.
(2) The Minister may by regulations make such modifications to the acceptable deviation of measured fertilizer by weight as considered necessary and prescribe appropriate sanctions for any deviation.
