Section 16: Detention and expulsion of refugees

(1)
A refugee may be detained or expelled for reasons of national security or public order provided that no refugee shall be expelled to a country where he has reasons to fear persecution.
(2) A refugee who has been notified of a decision of expulsion may appeal to the Board established under section 7 of this Act for re-consideration of his position.
