Section 13: Pension and gratuity not t0 be assignable.

A pension or gratuity granted under this Act shall not be assignable, transferable or liable to be attached, sequestrated or levied upon for or in respect of any debt or claim except for the purpose of satisfying-(a) a debt due to the Federal Government; or
(b) an order of a court for the payment of periodical sums of money towards the maintenance of the wife or former wife or minor child of the personnel to whom the pension or gratuity has been granted.
