Section 4: Tenure of the office.

(1) Subject to the provisions of section 5 of this Act, a member of the Board, other than an ex-officio member.
(a) shall hold office for a period of four years in the first instance and shall be eligible for reappointment for a further period of four years and no more.
(b) may resign his appointment by writing under his hand a letter addressed to the President, and his membership shall terminate on the date of receipt of the letter of resignation and
(c) shall be paid such remuneration and allowances as the Revenue Mobilisation. Allocation and Fiscal Ccmmission may, from tirne to time determine.
(2) Subject to this Act a member of the Board, other than an ex-otficio member, shall not while holding office on the Board hold any other office of emolument in any of the public service of the Govemment of the Federation or of a State.
