Section 384: Interfering with wrecked vessel
(1)
A person shall not, without the leave of the master, board or endeavour to board any vessel which is wrecked, stranded or in distress unless that person is, or acts by command of the Receiver of Wreck or a person lawfully acting as such.
(2)
Any person who acts in contravention of this section, commits an offence and on conviction is liable to a fine not less than fifty thousand Naira, and the master of the vessel may repel him by force.
