Section 343: Application

The provisions contained in this part of this Act shall apply to the Application, assessment of damages where a vessel has been involved in a collision with another vessel or vessels, so however that a claimant shall be entitled to recover only such damages as may reasonably be considered to be the direct and immediate consequence of the collision.
