Section 12: Provisions for re-registration in State courts

The President may at any time direct that a maintenance order registered under section 3 of this Act, prior to the date of coming into operation of the Adaptation of Laws (Judicial Provisions) Order, 1955, shall after such date be re-registered in such court as he may direct, and thereupon the provisions of this Act shall apply to such order as so re-registered, as they apply to an order on first registration under section 3 of this Act.
