Section 1: Establishment of the Librarians (Registration, etc.) Council of Nigeria

(1) There is hereby established a body to be known as the Librarians (Registration, etc.) Council of Nigeria (in this Act referred to as "the Counci)").
(2) The Council shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.
