Section 12: Annual estimates, accounts and audit.

(1) The Board shall submit to the Minister, not later than 30th September in each year an estimate of its expenditure and income during the next succeeding year.
(2) The Board shall keep proper accounts and proper records in relation thereto and shall prepare in respect of each year a statement of accounts in such form as it may think appropriate.
(3) The accounts of the Board shall be audited, not later than six months after the end of the year to which such accounts relate, by auditors appointed by the Board from the list and in accordance with the guidelines supplied by the Auditor-General of the Federation.
