Section 30: Complimentary procedures

(1) This Act is intended to complement and not replace the existing procedures for access to public records and information and is not intended to limit in any way access to those types of official information that have been normally available to the general public
(2) Where the question whether any public record or information is to be made available, where that question arises under this Act, the question shall be determined in accordance with the provision stated herein, unless otherwise exempted by this Act
