Section 27: Power of Minister to approve virement.

(1) The sums appropriated for a specific purpose shall be used solely for the purpose specified in the Appropriation Act
(2) Without prejudice to subsection (1) of this section, the Minister may in exceptional circumstances and in the overall public interest, recommend for the approval of the National Assembly virements from sub-heads of account, without exceeding the amount appropiated to such head of account.
