Section 1: Establishment of the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences

(1) There is established the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta, Ogun State (in this Act referred to as "the University").
(2) The University-
(a) shall be a body corporate;
(b) may sue and be sued in its corporate name; and
(c) shall have perpetual succession and a common seal.
