FEDERAL INLAND REVENUE SERVICE (ESTABLISHMENT) ACT
Section 37: Power to pay reward.
(1) The Service may, with the approval of the Board, pay any reward to any person, not being a person employed in the Service, in respect of any information that may be of assistance to the Service in the performance of its duties under this Act upon meeting such conditions as may be determined by the Board and the quantum of such reward shall also be at the discretion of the Board.
(2) The identity of the person who gave information to the Service shall be kept confidential and any current or former member of the Service or Board that discloses the identity of such person shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of section 39 of this Act with regard to confidential information.
