Section 24: Functions of the Local Government and Area Council Co-ordinating Committee

The Local Government and Area Council Co-ordinating Committee shall each be charged with the responsibility for-(a) collecting, collating and assessing all applications for loans under the Programme received from the Ward Co-ordinating Committee;
(b) making appropriate recommendations to the Board through the State Co-ordinating Committees; and
(c) publicity, monitoring, evaluating and training of beneficiaries at the Local Government and the Area Council levels.
