Section 72: Repeal of Cap. W 6, LFN. and Savings.

(1) The Workmen's Compensation Act, Cap W6 LFN. 2004 is repealed.
(2) Without prejudice to section 6 of the Interpretation Act, the repeal of the enactment specified in subsection (1) of this section, shall not affect anything done under or pursuant to the enactment.
(3) Every order, requirement, certificate, notice, direction, decision, authorization, consent, application, request or thing made, issue, given or done under any enactment repealed by this Act shall, if in force at the commencement of this Act, continue to be in force and have effect as if made, issued, given or done under the corresponding provision of this Act.
