Section 216: False declaration.

A person who, in any declaration required to be made under this Act, makes any statement which he knows to be false or does not have reasonable grounds to believe to be true, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not more than N100,000 or to imprisonment for a term not more than six months or both.
