Section 166: Renewable energy incentives and standards.

(1) From the commencement of this Act, the Federal Ministry responsible for Finance shall introduce such tax incentives as are necessary to promote and facilitate the generation and consumption of energy from renewable energy sources and in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Development (Income Tax Relief) Act or such other f seal policy framework foster such tax reliefs that would incentivise implementation of renewable energy projects in Nigeria.
