Section 18: Offences in relation to improper use of registration cards, etc.

Any person who-(a) being entitled to a registration card, hands it, when received by him, to some person other than an officer appointed and acting in the course of his duty under this Act; or
(b) not being an officer and acting in the course of his duty under this Act, receives a registration card in the name of some other person; or
(c) without lawful excuse, has in his possession more than one registration card,
is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of 2 years or to a fine of N5,000 or to both such imprisonment and fine.
