Section 16: Penalty.(as created by Section 4 of the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract (Amendment) Act, 2019.)

Any person who fails or neglect to comply with any obligation imposed by any provision of this Act commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of at least N500,000,000.00or imprisonment for a term of at least five years or both.
