Section 46: Obstruction and refusal to release information

Subject to the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a person who-
a willfully obstructs any law enforcement officer in the exercise of any power conferred by this Act, or
b fails to comply with any lawful inquiry or request made by any law enforcement agency in accordance with the provisions of this Act,

commits an offence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of 2 years or to a fine of not more than=N 500,000.00 or both.
