Section 37: Measures for the control of manufacture of small arms and light weapons.

The National Centre shall not grant a request for the manufacture of small arms and light weapons except the manufacturer gives information relating to -(a) details of the arms to be manufactured and the quantity, exact type and kind of arms using ECOWAS classification system, including all serial numbers and other markings;
(b) the procedure for marking and entering details of each small arm and light weapon into the Register of Small Arms and Light Weapons established under section 33 of this Act; and
(c) information on the storage and management of the small arms and light weapons after manufacture.
