CONSUMER PROTECTION COUNCIL ACT
Section 18: Disobedience to summons
Any person who, without sufficient cause, neglects or refuses to attend and testify before the Council or the State Committee or to answer any lawful enquiry, or to produce any document as may be required of him is guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to a fine of not less than N10,000 or imprisonment for a term of five years or to both such fine and imprisonment.
