Section 16: Application of Act to certain persons

(1)
Any person not being a member of the Association who, but for this Act, would have been qualified to apply for and obtain membership of the Association may, within the period of six months from the commencement of this Act, apply to be registered as a member of the profession in such a manner as may be prescribed by the Council.
(2) Where an application under subsection (1) of this section is approved by the Council, the applicant shall be registered, as the case may be, according to his qualification.
