Section 582: Definition of official receiver.

(1) For the purpose of this Act and so far as it relates to the winding-up of companies by the Court, “official receiver” means the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court or an officer designated for that purpose by the Chief Judge of the Court.
(2) Any such officer shall, for the purpose of his duties under this Act, be called “the official receiver”.
