Section 55: Alteration of status by re-registration.

A company may by re-registration under this Part alter its status from—(a) a private company to a public company;
(b) a public company to a private company;
(c) a private limited company to an unlimited company;
(d) an unlimited company to a limited company; or
(e) a public limited company to an unlimited company.
