Section 61: Duty to promote safety of civil aviation.

The Authority shall have the power and duty to promote safety of civil aviation by prescribing and revising as necessary-(a) rules and regulations implementing, all Standards of the Annexes to the Chicago Convention; and
(b) such other rules, regulations, or standards governing other practices, methods, and procedures as the Authority may find necessary to provide adequately for safety in civil aviation.
