Section 15: Application of this Act to unregistered persons.

A person who is not a member of the Nigerian Institute of Bankers established before the commencement of this Act who but for this Act, is qualified to apply for and obtain membership of the Institute may apply for membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria established by this Act, in such manner as may be prescribed by rules made by the Council and shall be registered in the category of membership appropriate in the current period for holders of the qualification he possesses.
