Section 14: Resignation and Removal of Board Members.

2010Section 14 of 92Federal Republic of Nigeria

(1) A member of the Board may at any time resign his office by giving at least one month's notice in writing to the President through the Governor of his intention to do so.
(2) The President upon the recommendation of the Governor, may remove a member at any time from membership of the Board if-
(a) the member is disqualified on any of the grounds specified in section 13 of this Act :
(b) the member-
(i) has become incapable through illness or injury of performing his functions ; or
(ii) has contravened the provisions of this Act ;
(c) a conflict of interest has arisen in relation to the member ; or
(d) his removal appears to be necessary or expedient for the effective performance
of the functions of the Corporation.
