Section 69: Loss or hazarding vehicle, ship or aircraft

A person subject to service law under this Act who, whether wilfully or by negligence, causes or allows to be lost or hazarded any vehicle, ship, or aircraft in the service of the Armed Forces, is guilty of an offence under this section and liable, on conviction by a court-martial-(a) if he acts wilfully or with wilful neglect, to life imprisonment or to any less punishment provided by this Act; and
(b) in any other case, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to any less punishment provided by this Act.
