Section 249: Punishment for aiding malingering

A person who-(a) produces in a member of the Armed Forces a sickness or disability; or
(b) supplies to or for him a drug or preparation calculated or likely to render him, or lead to the belief that he is permanently or temporarily unfit for service, with a view to enabling him to avoid service in the Armed Forces permanently or temporarily,
is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a tine not exceeding five hundred naira or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both such fine and imprisonment.
