Section 21: Method of resignation.

1 Any officer referred to in the provisions of this Act may resign his office in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Civil Service or National Universities with such modifications as may be necessary to the civilian employee-
a in line with military tradition; or
b if civilian, by notice to the Council, through the Commandant.

2 Subject to as may be otherwise specified, a person who has ceased to hold an office otherwise than by removal for misconduct, is eligible for reappointment to that office.
